Data controller and contact

The data controller is the owner of La Siete de Gijón, registered holiday home VUT-2386-AS. You can exercise your rights by emailing lasietedegijon@gmail.com.

Data we process

For a booking request, we process the guest’s name, email, telephone number, dates, number of adults and children, children’s ages, selected rate, arrival time, requested equipment and comments. Traveller documentation is requested only after the booking has been confirmed.

To understand general website use, we retain aggregated statistics only: date, page viewed, source, device type and approximate country. We do not store IP addresses or build individual browsing histories.

Purposes and legal basis

• Managing requests, bookings and payments: steps taken before entering into a contract and performance of that contract.
• Meeting tax, accounting and traveller-registration duties: legal obligation.
• Answering enquiries, preventing misuse and measuring the website’s performance in aggregate: legitimate interest.

Recipients and retention

Necessary website-hosting, transactional-email, payment and mapping providers, as well as the relevant public authorities, may process data where required. The interactive map uses Google Maps; when it loads, your browser connects to Google services to display the map and nearby places. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Data is retained only for as long as necessary and for the periods required by law.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by email. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
